Description:    Living Healthy with Chronic Pain is a workshop given two and a half hours, once a week, for six weeks, in community settings such as senior centers, churches, libraries and hospitals. People with chronic pain attend together. Workshops are facilitated by two trained leaders, one or both of whom are non-health professionals with chronic pain themselves. Classes are highly interactive, where mutual support and success build the participants’ confidence in their ability to manage their health and maintain active and fulfilling lives. Learn new techniques to deal with problems associated with your pain, and appropriate exercise for improving your health.

Dates:    6 sessions – 1 x a week – Thursdays – September 12, 19, 26, October 3, 10 and 17, 2019

Time:     11:00 am – 1:30 pm    Participants can bring their lunch.
