Description: Moving for Better Balance is a 12-week evidence-based, instructor-led group program designed to help you improve strength, balance, flexibility, and mobility through the slow and therapeutic movements of Tai Chi, a graceful form of exercise and deep breathing. The program is led by a qualified instructor and teaches an eight-form routine of Tai Chi-based movements modified specifically for falls prevention. This program meets twice a week for a total of 24 class sessions over the 12 weeks.
Dates: 12 weeks (2 x week) – Mondays and Thursdays – Starts September 11th to November 30th, 2017
