Description: This award winning program is designed to reduce the fear of falling and increase the activity levels of older adults who have concerns about falls. Classes help participants learn to:
1) view falls and fear of falling as controllable
2) set realistic goals for increasing activity
3) change their environment to reduce risk factors
4) promote exercise to increase strength and balance.
Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays, October 17 to November 9, 2022
