Description: This program will be Virtual via Zoom.
A self-paced walking program for people with Arthritis and other ongoing health conditions.
This self-paced physical activity option introduces low impact stretching and a 10 – 35 minute walk 3 times per week for 6 weeks. You will receive a weekly call from a certified Arthritis Foundation leader who will provide health tips and an instructional message to keep you encouraged and motivated. A reference book and walking diary will be provided.
You will learn how to safely make physical activity part of your everyday life.
Walk With Ease can help you:
• Reduce the pain and discomfort of arthritis
• Increase balance, strength and walking pace
• Build confidence in your ability to be physically active
• Improve overall health
