Description:    Walk With Ease (WWE) is a group walking program that encourages people, with arthritis or other chronic conditions, such as diabetes or heart disease, to begin an exercise program. It is designed for people who want to begin or increase their activity level who are able to be on their feet for at least 10 minutes without increased pain. Research for WWE shows that it can reduce arthritis symptoms, such as pain, stiffness, fatigue, can improve strength, balance, and walking pace, and increases confidence to manage arthritis and stay motivated to remain active. Each class begins with a health education session on arthritis related or exercise related topics, a stretching activity, followed by walking, and ending with a cool down and stretches. For your safety and comfortable, classes are held indoors on our walking track.

Dates:     Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, for 6 weeks, January 10 to February 21, 2022.  No class on Monday, January 17 (MLK, Jr. Day)

Time:     12:30 pm – 1:30 pm
