Description:

Raising the Bar for Black Men’s Health and Wellness: A Men’s Prayer Breakfast and Health Symposium. The goal is to promote health literacy, healthy behavioral changes, and engagement in health education programs and health research among approximately 300 African American men. This event will be held at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church in Winston Salem, NC.

Fall Prevention Screenings using CDC STEADI screens. Referrals may be made to WSSU and area Fall Prevention Programs.
The larger event is sponsored by Maya Angelou Center for Health Equity at the Wake Forest School of Medicine.
