Washington DC – Data as Storytelling

On May 22nd, NCCHW’s Director of State and Community Collaborations presented at the 2018 National Council on Aging Center for Healthy Aging Annual Meeting in Washington DC. She presented on how Healthy Aging NC collaborates with various agencies to gather data and use it to advance evidence-based program support. Examples of this included connections to: the state health department for falls-related injury and death data; hospitals for hospitalization data; and NCCHW’s own use of an evidence-based scorecard that uses the Results-Based Accountability (RBA) model.

The powerpoint for the session can be found at healthyagingnc.com in the “Webinars” section of Healthy Aging NC’s “Resources” tab. You can also click on the link below to see the slides. Thank you Nicolle for sharing our important and successful work with our national partners and colleagues.
